About Course

Hyung (형) training lies at the heart of Tang Soo Do, preserving the art’s techniques, principles, and philosophy through structured movement. This course covers the traditional canon of Tang Soo Do forms while also exploring many lost, forgotten, and lesser-known hyung that were originally part of the Tang Soo Do curriculum. Practitioners gain deeper insight into application, transitions, rhythm, and intent, strengthening both technical precision and historical understanding. By studying these forms, Tang Soo Do practitioners connect past and present, preserving the depth of the art while refining their own movement, discipline, and expression.
